A neuropsychological evaluation provides a comprehensive understanding of an individual's strengths and weaknesses using standardized tests. My interpretations go beyond test scores and include my observation of behaviors and performance style during the assessment. This approach allows me to accurately answer referral questions and provide appropriate home, school, and work recommendations.
Requests for accommodations at school or in college typically require a recent comprehensive evaluation and written report from a licensed clinical psychologist.
Parents and providers may be concerned about a child's cognitive development, academic growth, social skills, and behavior.
Common diagnostic questions include attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), mental health conditions, behavior disorders, and intellectual disability.
Monitoring development is critical for children with medical conditions. These include preterm birth, genetic disorders, traumatic brain injury, childhood cancer, and prenatal exposure.
Young adults may have questions about whether they have a learning disability, ADHD, or ASD.
Individuals who have recently had a head injury, have a medical diagnosis, or a mental health condition may want objective testing to document any impairments they are experiencing.
Young adults with a previous developmental diagnosis or medical condition can benefit from a follow-up assessment to learn more about their current level of functioning.

Your evaluation begins with a review of records, an extensive interview, and questionnaires so I can best help you.

I select tests that assess each person's current abilities to help them better reach their full potential.

We discuss the results and my conclusions. I provide practical recommendations and my continued support.
After a phone consultation, we will schedule a time for a meeting to discuss your case and evaluate all pertinent records.
Testing sessions are typically completed in one to two visits. The total overall time for an evaluation is 4 to 6 hours.
Approximately one week after the completion of the assessment, I will meet with you in person to discuss the results and provide you with a written report.
